The Learning and Skills Council, which took on its full operational responsibilities for post-16 learning from 1 April, has launched its strategic plan for consultation. Improving Prisoners Learning and Skills.
A real and lasting improvement in prisoners' learning and skills will be achieved through a new strategic partnership between the Department for Education and Employment (DfEE) and the Prison Service.
