Gareth Rees

Gareth Rees, born on the 30th June 1967 in Duncan, was Canada's top all-time scorer. He is the only player in the world who has played all WC qualification games and ten World Cup matches and also played in the World Cup in '99.

Gareth Rees, known as, "Canada's gift to rugby," has represented Canada at the Rugby World Cup since the age of 18 playing the position of fly-half. He has captained Canada man times including the World Cup qualifying matches in Argentina in August 1998.    He has recently resigned with Bedford.

Gareth has also played professional rugby in Europe, winning both individual scoring titles and league championships for his team. He managed a total of 52 tests and 443 points and is currently a history teacher and Rugby coach at the Eton School in Windsor.
