Gavin Hastings:)

 

Gavin Hastings played for Scotland rugby football team from 1986 to 1995.

He was born on the 3rd of January in 1962 in Edinburgh.

The position on the rugby pitch that made him famous was the position of Full Back this position enabled him to show off his skill and talents as a rugby player.

Gavin Hastings was 24 when he played his first international game. His international debut was on the 18th of January in 1986 against France at Mummayfield, Scotland won the game 18-17.

Gavin Hastings final appearance was on the 11th of June in 1995 in a game against New Zealand in the World Cup sadly Scotland lost 48-30.

Gavin Hastings achieved a total of 61 caps.
