Rugby Museum 

Come and see the wonderful collection of Roman artefacts from Tripontium and try your hand at being an archaeologist, plus objects and old photographs telling the story of Rugby Borough.

Rugby Visitor Centre

The starting point for any visit to the area, this is the place to collect leaflets, book accommodation, check on the latest special events and purchase souvenirs. Visitors to the Centre can enjoy 'Rugby Discovered' a special audio-visual display bringing to life the experience of Rugby and its history.  The Visitor Centre is also the starting point for the Rugby Pathway of Fame and it is here that visitors will be able to make their nominations for future inclusions in the Pathway. 


Rugby School

Rugby School stands in the heart of Rugby and its impressive architecture dominates the southern end of the town centre. To give visitors a true insight into life at the school, guided tours are operated from Rugby School Museum at 2.30pm. The guides, many of whom are pupils, take an increasingly international mix of visitors on a fascinating discovery tour, bringing to life the School's special buildings and history.

Rugby School Museum

Music and sound bring to life displays which reflect the heritage of this famous school, its place in the history of rugby football and the lives of its more notable pupils.  The museum is the starting point for tours of the school and the shop is stocked with a range of quality items to serve as a lasting reminder of your visit to Rugby.

Rugby Football Museum

The James Gilbert Rugby Football Museum is housed in the original building where William Gilbert, boot and shoe maker for Rugby School, made the first of his world famous rugby footballs in 1842. The museum is a treasure trove of rugby memorabilia from all over the world and provides a great insight into the development of rugby football.

The Rugby Pathway of Fame

Starting from the Visitor Centre, the Rugby Pathway of Fame is a trail of 47 bronze plaques set in the pavement taking visitors on a tour of the town. Each of these plaques will be dedicated to a legend of the sport or an historic moment in the development of the game, many nominated by rugby unions and leagues around the world.
